Apple is reportedly preparing to launch an OLED-based iPhone, along with OLED notebooks and displays, according to sources at LG in Korea.  Australian publication Smarthouse claims that Apple have already produced a prototype netbook with an OLED display, and potentially touch-screen capabilities too.

As well as the touch-sensitivity, LG are apparently plus working on a display coating that will reduce or eliminate “finger marking”, which

was observed as a significant issue in the Apple prototype.  The OLED iPhone will be joined by a similarly-featured new iPod touch.

The OLED displays are part of a reported $500m deal within Apple and LG for panel production up until 2013.  Apple has previously been rumored to be sourcing multitouch panels for a netbook or slate-style tablet device.
